UHS Wilson Medical Center, United Health Services is seeking a Staff Nurse (Med Surg RN - All shifts available for 8 or 12 hours) to join our Med Surg ST 4 department in Johnson City, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$37.45 - $59.38 per hour, depending on experience.
Overview

Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Direct experience on a Med Surg unit is not required. We are currently hiring nurses with recent bedside experience. Our Med Surg team treats very sick patients, requiring strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and excellent communication.
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
Preferred:
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
- PPE as required by Infection Control policies.
