The role you’ll contribute:
The Occupational Therapy Assistant implements patient care for assigned patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist in accordance with the Florida Occupational Therapy Association standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 468.203 (6): “Occupational therapy assistant means a person licensed to assist in the practice of occupational therapy, who works under the supervision of an occupational therapist, and whose license is in good standing.”

- Assessment: Collection of comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Accurately assesses and records patient progress towards attainment of expected outcomes.
- Diagnosis: Assists the Occupational Therapist in the review of assessment data to identify diagnoses or issues.
Qualifications:
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Graduate of an accredited School for Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Current Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant License
- Current BLS from American Heart Association
