Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics
Length: 13 weeks
Call: depending on shifts uncovered for core staffing. Varies in a 6-week schedule.
Requirements:
- VA License
- 2+ years experience required
- BCLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate
- AWHONN Advanced preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Meditech experience preferred
- Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
- Community Hospital Experience preferred
- Skills: FHM, Triage. Procedures associated with obstetrics such as versions, IOL, cervical ripening, IUFD care and bereavement. OR Cesarean Sections required
- Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
- 50-mile radius required! NO local travelers
- Floating: This is a combined unit that services: L&D (Vaginal & Cesarean), post-partum, antepartum, & Level II nursery. If floated outside of specialty, will be utilized as helping hands using general nursing skills to assist nurses with assigned patients.
Needing RNs for OB unit! 2-yrs experience required.
SCHEDULE:
- Weekends: Every other
- Call: depending on shifts uncovered for core staffing. Varies in a 6-week schedule.
- Floating: This is a combined unit that services: L&D (Vaginal & Cesarean), post-partum, antepartum, & Level II nursery. If floated outside of specialty, will be utilized as helping hands using general nursing skills to assist nurses with assigned patients.
UNIT INFO:
- Procedures associated with obstetrics such as versions, IOL, cervical ripening, IUFD care and bereavement. OR Cesarean Sections
- Manager will consider first time travelers
- 1:1 complication or active labor
- 1:3 antepartum stable
- 2:1 delivery (1 NRP for baby, 1 for mother)
- 1:2-3 NICU level 2 depending on condition.
PATIENT INFO:
- Combined unit that services: L&D (Vaginal & Cesarean), post-partum, antepartum, & Level II nursery
- Level 2 inpatient obstetrical clientele
- Observational triage patients
- Mother Baby Couplet Care
REQUIRED:
- Skills: FHM, Triage. Procedures associated with obstetrics such as versions, IOL, cervical ripening, IUFD care and bereavement. OR Cesarean Sections
- Years of experience: 2+
PREFERRED:
- 50-mile radius required! NO local travelers
- Scrubs will be provided (navy)
