Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a

Provides and documents care to patients under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, and other Staff Nurses, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment. Participates as a team member to ensure appropriate resources are available to all internal/external customers. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment to Houston Healthcare.

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be currently enrolled in their last year of an accredited registered nursing program OR a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program who has not yet taken boards.
Must have passed boards within 6 months of graduation.
Shows proof of 2.5 GPA and must remain in good standing with the nursing school.
Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
Must be able to utilize standard office equipment, diagnostic equipment, and patient care equipment.
Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, mask, etc.

Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
