About this role:
KDC is looking for a Team Leader for Early Intervention. The Team Leader works in collaboration with the Assistant Director and Program Director to ensure quality of clinical services and compliance of program services with Department of Public Health Operational Standards. As part of the program supervisory team, the Team Leader models, supports and promotes the agency mission, values and vision.
We are looking for people who have:
- Must have required degree and requirements as defined in Early Intervention Operational Standards.
- Must hold full certification as CEIS or the equivalent of 3+ years and be actively in the process of obtaining certification.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Administrative and/or supervisory experience preferred.
- Able to meet required competency level in Microsoft Office Software.
The physical requirements for this role:
- Ability to meet with families and/or individuals within their homes.
- Ability to use computer.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Provide support and mentorship to designated staff through scheduled support visits and quarterly meetings (non-billable) as well as in-home consultations / co-treats / IFSP review (billable).
- Assist Clinical Supervisor, Assistant Director and Program Director in completing introductory and annual evaluations for staff by providing and documenting home visit observations and contributing to annual reviews.
- Facilitate Peer Case Review, IFSP Reviews, and assist with staff orientation process.
- Assist with coordination and completion of Assessment & Evaluation Teams.
- In conjunction with Program Director and/or Assistant Director and/or Clinical Supervisor, facilitate staff training encompassing assessment, IFSP development, home/community-based services and other relevant topics (e.g. functional outcomes, natural environments).
- In collaboration with Clinical Supervisor, Assistant Director and Program Director, provide oversight and support of staff to attain and maintain expected productivity.
- Assume administrative responsibilities in absence of Clinical Supervisor, Assistant Director and Program Director.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
- 58% Productivity expectation comprised of 50% caseload (Service coordination, consults, assessment, intake) and 8% supervision (billable or non-billable).
