Physician Assistant - Orthopedics (Bilingual Spanish)

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) with expertise in Orthopedics and fluency in Spanish to join our orthopedic practice in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of orthopedic conditions. Your bilingual skills will be essential in delivering clear and effective communication to both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of orthopedic injuries and conditions.
- Assist in orthopedic surgeries and provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care.
- Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, MRIs), and create treatment plans.
- Administer injections, set fractures, and apply casts, splints, and braces as necessary.
- Provide patient education, explaining diagnoses and treatment plans clearly in both English and Spanish.
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Accurately document patient encounters and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Conduct follow-up evaluations, monitor recovery, and adjust treatment plans as required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Georgia.
- Experience in Orthopedics required, including assisting in surgeries, diagnostics, and patient care.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is required.
- Strong clinical skills in orthopedic care, including administering injections and managing fractures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
