Job Description
Responsibilities:
- The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) requires weekly on-site services, progress reports aligned with school grading periods, will perform evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for special education and related services.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate educational plans, provide therapeutic services, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Select, manage, and develop various assessment and evaluation.
- Consult on specialized therapy, guide and supervise implementation of individual therapy.
- Conduct evaluations for referred students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in the development of the Evaluation Team Summary Report.
- Provide consultation on therapy matters to professionals and parents; guide therapy implementation.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, providing regular progress reports.
- Manage detailed reports, schedule of visits and services; attend meetings as needed.
- Counseling students.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- 3 years of experience
- Current license in the State of New Mexico.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school staff and parents.
- Valid Driver License and Comfortable with Commute.
- Working knowledge of processes, policies, and practices that impact the efficiency of conflict management systems.
- Legal to Work in the United States and be able to pass background check and screening.
