Team Details: 75 Total Team Members, 59 Registered Nurses, 5 Resource Nurse, 11 Patient Care Tech
Unit Information:
- Large Unit: 6 divisions across 2 floors, 86 beds
- 80 – 100 cases per day
- 2:1 patient nurse ratio at any given time (Pre/Post)
- Critical Care patients – Neuro, Transplants
Role Details:
- Pre-Op: 5:30a to 4:00p, 4*10s, M-F
- Call: One weekend every 10 weeks
- Holidays: 1 per year, rotate Winter/Spring
- Graduate Nurse Eligibility: Yes
- Orientation: 3 months

Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes patient and family-centered care. Educates patients and their families on managing their illness or injury.
- Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate patient needs according to standards of care.
- This is a safety-sensitive position; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness is essential.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree
Experience: No Experience
Licenses & Certifications: RN

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience: Less than 2 years
