Dual role MRI Tech/XRay Tech position
Requirements
- ARRT/RMR certification
- 2 years experience in specialty
- Previous travel experience preferred
Independently or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology following policies and protocols. Uses established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort a top priority. Operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners within all guidelines of MRI safety. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of MRI safety zones and practices all safety guidelines. Explains MRI procedures to patient/family for ultimate success of exam. Administers appropriate contrast media intravenously and accurately evaluates images to ensure quality and diagnostic status of exam.
Certifications
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-R (Radiography)
Physical Abilities
Ability to lift from 50-100 lbs.
