Ultrasound Technologist Responsibilities:
- Conduct ultrasound examinations based on physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of internal organs and tissues.
- Analyze images to detect any abnormalities or pathologies.
- Maintain precise patient records and documentation of procedures.
- Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging results.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks to patients and staff.
- Engage in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- ARDMS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
