As a Clinic Nurse Manager at Gastro Health, you will be responsible for daily business operations and administrative functions of the clinical practice through operationalizing the organization's goals. This position will manage staff, coordinate provider schedules, and ensure smooth patient flow for the clinical practice through strong problem solving and decision-making abilities. Your strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and effective communication contribute to efficient practice management and a positive patient experience. The Clinic Manager provides ongoing leadership for the support and guidance of clinic staff in coordination with development of operational efficiencies to ensure cost-effective and quality operations of the clinic. Your role will be responsible for strategic implementation of initiatives and requires the business acumen required to develop process improvement targets and monitor key performance indicators for the clinic. The Clinic Nurse Manager goals will align closely with those of the Regional Manager and Division Vice President, as well as the Physician Leaders, while being the present and accountable leader to transform the vision and goals into action. This position requires competency in change management and performance improvement while possessing basic knowledge in human resources, revenue cycle, marketing, facilities, succession planning and future growth.

Duties you will be responsible for:

- Oversees all practice operations, provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational goals and objectives
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills in a manner which enhances communication, collaboration, promotes conflict resolution.
- Manages all aspects of the care center’s compliance and risk management
- Works with the clinical staff to coordinate medical management of patient care
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, performance improvement, disciplinary process, and facilitates staff development
- Responsible for care center purchasing decisions; working with preferred vendors; ordering supplies; and managing inventory
- Evaluates and manages budget, financial reports, and clinic operations metrics reporting results to the Division Vice President
- Monitors patient revenues and operating expenses (salaries and capital expense items) and provides appropriate reports to the Physicians
- Ensures strategic integration of operational initiatives and clinical practices to provide an optimal patient experience
- Works cross-functionally with credentialing, revenue cycle, and human resources to achieve optimal operational results
- Consults with GH operational leadership (Regional Director/DVP) on practice operations
- Promotes the practice group brand and the care center physicians
- Monitors patient referrals and clinic capacity issues to meet budgeted volume projections and takes necessary action to address challenges
- Collaborates with ancillary services to provide seamless operations between endoscopy and clinic for patients, staff, and physicians
- Responsible for onsite infusion service support in collaboration with multi-state Clinical Infusion RN Manager
- Coordinates with community-based services such as Evergreen Health Hospital
- Completes other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Current RN Licensure in the State of Washington
- GI experience desired
- BLS Certified
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in managing medical practice desired
- Proficient in practice operations, staff and physician relations
- Ability to develop, understand and analyze data for the practice
