Position Summary:
Produce quality x-ray images. Be proficient and competent in your work atmosphere. Interact professionally with health care professionals and co-workers. Be efficient and prompt pertaining to the physician's schedules. Demonstrate a professional standard of care with patients and their families. Develop skills to learn standard splinting and casting techniques. Must have exceptional customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and basic computer proficiency. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to work as a team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Produce quality digital images with proper labeling.
- Know proper techniques and positioning for all clinical exams.
- Be proficient in handling and maintaining all x-ray equipment; this includes x-ray tube, exam table, and digital cassettes.
- Be efficient in using digital equipment and image retrieval on all computer monitors.
- Keep a clean environment in the x-ray room. Keep all exam rooms clean and stocked.
- Interact and collaborate with all other health care professionals, such as Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Medical Assistants, in a professional way.
- Establish positive and helping relationships with patients and their families.
- Be informative and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
