Overview of the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery for their Plano, TX location. This full-time, day shift position is vital for providing leadership and ensuring the provision of evidence-based care. The Nurse Manager will have 24/7 accountability for the unit, focusing on maintaining high standards of patient care, promoting the department’s mission and values, and safeguarding patient safety and rights.
Responsibilities:
- Leada defined patient care area with accountability for patient outcomes.
- Developand implement goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process.
- Ensureevidence-based care and practices are followed by the team.
- Managestaffing, budgeting, and resources to optimize care delivery and maintain operational targets.
- Promotea culture of customer-focused care and continuous performance improvement.
- Delegatetasks appropriately to ensure optimal patient care and staff performance.
- Fostera positive working environment through staff development and participation in performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Education: BSN required; MSN or related Master’s degree preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Texas State RN license or compact license.
- National Specialty Certification or plan to achieve within one year.
- BLS/ACLS as required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care labor and delivery RN leadership experience.
- Progressive leadership experience is preferred.

Compensation:
- Salary Range: $40.79 - $50.99 - $61.19 per hour (based on experience)
