Endoscopy Technician: Endoscopy technicians assist doctors and nurses that perform endoscopy procedures. They prepare and maintain the instruments and equipment used in endoscopy. They clean, disinfect, and calibrate endoscopy instruments and scopes according to the standards of the facility.
Qualifications- Minimum of one (1) year recent clinical acute care Gastro technologist Technician experience
- Certified Endoscope Reprocessor certification required
- Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Knowledge of preparing and maintaining a sterile field
- Knowledge of instrumentation and supplies necessary for endoscopy procedures.
- Basic communication skills, problem-solving techniques, and professional interpersonal relations skills
