We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team on a permanent basis near Chesterhill, OH. What You Can Expect:
- Consistent Shifts:
- The main focus is on night shifts from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and weekends, ensuring that you will play a crucial role during high-demand hours.
- Providers are expected to be available for 8-10 shifts per month consistently over the next 3-4 months.
- The emergency department handles a volume of 20,000 patients annually with 11 total beds.
- The department includes a fast track for quicker, less critical cases, ensuring efficient patient flow.
- Technology and Support:
- The facility utilizes All Scripts/Paragon as the EMR system.
- As the overseeing physician, you will collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and be responsible for writing orders for admissions.
- Support from a range of consultants, including Radiologists, Cardiologists, Pulmonologists, Gastroenterologists, Urologists, and Hematologists/Oncologists.
- Special Considerations:
- Deliveries are sent directly to Labor & Delivery, allowing the focus to remain on emergency care.

Ideal Candidate:
- Board Certification:
- The candidate must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, with qualifications from ABMS/AOA IM/FM (double board certification with ABPS is acceptable).
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2+ years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine is required, ensuring that you are well-prepared to handle the complexities of this role.
- Licensure:
- An active Ohio state license is required. The position does not accept IMLC licenses.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is required, adhering to state and facility guidelines.
