Golden Harmony is looking for an RN to work FT 32 hours per week serving Wake, Durham and Orange counties.

The RN Supervisor plays a key role in the Golden Harmony care team. You will have a positive impact on the lives of our clients as you perform supervisory visits and create and revise our clients customized care plans. You will maintain Golden Harmony’s reputation for excellent customer service. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will work with the team to increase revenue through increased billable hours. You will also ensure that Golden Harmony’s practices are in line with regulatory guidelines.
Responsibility Summary:
- Perform Assessments by meeting prospective clients and families and gathering information pertinent to their care goals.
- Develop customized Plan-of-care and ongoing validation (reassessment) for assigned clients.
- Perform supervisory visits and/or reassessments with clients every 90 days and at least annually with the caregiver present.
- Observe signs and symptoms and report to the physician changes in the client's physical or emotional condition.
- In the event the Executive Director is unable to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, the Registered Nurse Supervisor will be appointed to fill this position until a permanent replacement can be found.
- Provide training and in-services pertinent to home care services to caregiver staff.
- Report incidents (as needed) to the Health Care Personnel Registry.
- Respond to client complaints and grievances, conducting investigations.
- Play lead role in the onboarding process of the care team.
- Perform Competency Verification Checks on caregiving staff at onboarding and annually.
- Oversee client satisfaction and maintain high Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Provide regular and timely feedback to caregivers and companions. Hold team accountable to Golden Harmony standards and Core Values.
- Ensure compliance with NC DHHS regulations for homecare.
- Participate in on-call rotation with other Registered Nurse Supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain communication with the management team, including feedback and support needed to execute the above responsibilities with a high level of quality.
Education, Training and Experience:
- An unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina.
- Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Prefer one to two years of home care or case management experience.
- Experience performing patient assessments.
- Active listener, effective communicator, positive, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the in-home care industry, regulations, and understanding of changes.
- Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; G-mail, Google Apps, etc.
- Must be able to use a variety of office equipment (i.e., computers, scanners, copiers, fax machine, phone system, etc.)
- Ability to work “on-call” by answering phone calls or texts to respond to urgent nursing issues.
- Ability to think strategically and maintain focus on short and long-term goals.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
- Ability to adjust priorities and focus with little notification.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to use automotive equipment.
- Ability to travel to various clients throughout the assigned territory.
- Required to have a baseline skin test for TB and submit to annual TB screening.
