ChristianaCare is hiring a casual Radiation Therapist II for our radiation oncology department in the Helen F. Graham Center in Newark, DE.
As a Radiation Therapist II, you would be under clinical supervision of the Chief Radiation Therapist and the professional direction of a radiation oncologist, performing various radiation therapy treatments and/or simulations at a technical level requiring minimal supervision of technical details.
Our mission is to provide safe, effective radiation treatments to our cancer patients.
This position varies in hours and is on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school for Radiation Therapy (CHEA, University-based program)
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5 years of professional experience and/or employed a minimum of 3 years at Christiana Care Radiation Oncology
Special Requirements:
- Board certification in Radiation Therapy Technology (ARRT)
- State of Delaware licensure as Radiation Therapy Technology; may be requested to obtain Maryland license.
