Job Description:
Clinical Psychologist - ABA Applied Behavioral Analysis
ABA Therapy provides intensive clinical therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with identified mental health or autism diagnoses. This service is designed to meet the specific needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis and can be provided in home, office, school, or other approved/appropriate community settings.
The Psychologist functions as the supervisor of the BCBA and is responsible for ensuring that the BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) operates within the scope of practice for Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy. Through supervision, the Psychologist ensures that best practice models are successfully implemented.
Duties:
- Review Behavioral Assessments and Treatment Plans and give feedback to BCBA and supervisors as needed.
- Conduct and write assessments and Treatment Plans.
- Supervise BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and other licensed staff.
- Meet in person or via live face-to-face video with the BCBA at least once a month to discuss cases, concerns, and give clinical feedback.
- Provide Parent Training (as needed).
- Administer Psychological Testing (as needed).
Required Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Psychologist in North Carolina.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience working with clients diagnosed with Autism.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis.
