I’m the Regional Medical Director for our Intensivist program at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, located in the quaint village of Nyack, New York. I’ve been a part of Sound Critical Care since 2004 when I joined as a staff intensivist. I’m proud of the critical care team we’ve built in Manchester and welcome interest from experienced Critical Care Advanced Practice Providers.

People
- Our team at Montefiore Nyack Hospital consists of four Intensivists and two critical care advanced practice providers.
- Our team is comprised of clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who are dedicated to the practice of critical care medicine.
- Within the hospital, we work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth care transitions. We encourage our team members to participate actively in committees and become part of the larger hospital team.
- Nyack is perched on the banks of the Hudson River, just across the Tappan Zee Bridge in Rockland County, New York, and offers the amenities of an urban lifestyle and the comforts of a small-town community.
Practice
- Montefiore Nyack Hospital is a 391-bed level III trauma center located just north of New York City in the quaint community of Nyack, NY, and has been caring for the families of Rockland County and the surrounding communities for more than 125 years. Since 1895, their mission has been to provide competent, innovative, and accessible emergency and acute care for their patients. Today, Montefiore Nyack Hospital is proudly affiliated with the Montefiore Health System and continues to evolve to meet the needs of those who call Rockland County home. As an award-winning Certified Stroke Center, Nyack Hospital has dedicated specialists and resources to expedite care for stroke patients.
- Our ICU cares for medical and surgical patients with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists.
- We currently staff with one intensivist and one critical care APP during the day, with one intensivist in-house at night.
- Our critical care APPs are competent in ICU procedures, provide care at the highest level, and practice autonomously within our program.
- Salary: $150,000-$162,000 based on number of shifts per month.
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k, paid medical malpractice with tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.
