Patient Population: Vascular, Cardiology, Electrophysiology
Patient Ratios: 1:2
Number of Beds: 12
Department Specifics: We also assist surgeons and anesthesiologists with bedside procedures. >95% BSN rate. World-renowned surgeons and cutting-edge procedures. We have strong practice councils and support our nurses in professional development.
Shift/Hours: FT/Days | 9a-9p | Three 12hr shifts per week | Only scheduled Mon-Fri
- Cannot leave until the last patient is discharged (1-2 shifts per week)
- Flex off if all patients are done before 9:00pm
Call Requirements: Approximately one FULL weeknight (Mon-Thurs) every 4 months, one weekend every 9 weeks, and two holidays per year. Additionally, one (7a-7p) Procedural Nurse for the day shift approximately every 6 weeks.
**Must be within 60min when on call.
Required Experience: Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent, full-time ICU RN experience. PACU and Cardiovascular related experience preferred. Requires ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (within 30 days of hire) and expected to obtain CCRN.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: ADN or higher, BSN preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent, full-time ICU RN experience. PACU and Cardiovascular RN related experience preferred. Will consider ER RN experience if it is coupled with strong Cardiovascular RN experience.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION:
Registered Nurse (RN)
BLS and ACLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
