- Night shift hours are 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m., NO ON CALL!
- Full time requirements are 36 hours, (3-12 hour shifts) a week, with weekend requirements.
- Evening and Weekend Pay Differential.

- 24/7 support from our full-time Board Certified physicians and APRNs, Chaplains and Social Workers.
Position Description:The Inpatient RN Charge Nurse functions as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team and works in collaboration with other Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care (KCH&PC) staff to provide leadership and support, ensuring exceptional service and quality of care for Hospice House patients and families.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Requirements:- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, with motivation to work with the dying and bereaved.
- Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Kansas and Missouri required.
- One (1) to Two (2) years’ relevant work experience in caring for terminal patients and others with life threatening illnesses, required.
- Ability to demonstrate clinical judgment and decision making based on knowledge and skill in caring for patients with life-limiting illness, required.
- Prior, relevant work experience providing supervision, management and coordination of the work of others, preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, preferred.
- Prior working knowledge of Electronic Medical Systems (EMRs) required; prior experience with Suncoast preferred.
- Valid CPR certification required.
