Job Description
The Nursing Educator provides educational services to clinical staff and demonstrates clinical expertise and clinical knowledge of unit(s) served. The Nursing Educator assists in the assessment of knowledge gaps leading to the planning, implementing and evaluating development and implementation of educational programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelors in Nursing degree (BSN).
Experience
Must have at least twenty-four (24) months recent clinical nursing experience.
Two (2) years' experience in specialty area.
CA Registered Nurse - California Board of Registered Nursing.
Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to produce results and coordinate projects.
Working knowledge of Title XXII and The Joint Commission regulations.
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and in situations requiring instruction, conflict resolution, consulting and advising, as well as written communication.
Salary Range:
$89.43 - $116.79 USD Hourly
