Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

Dungarvin is looking for dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide direct care support to people with developmental disabilities in our Day Program. Candidates will have a desire to create a lasting positive impact on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals.
What You Get to Do:
- Work a reliable schedule Monday – Friday 8:30 - 3:00pm
- Work in a Behavioral Adult Day Program located in Rohnert Park, CA
- Assist the persons served to direct the course of their own lives, develop and maintain relationships, and participate in their communities
- Assist individuals with planning and achieving goals
- Assist with direct care and support with daily activities such as mealtime and personal care
- Drive the company van or small bus to activities in the community
- Follow protocols and procedures to maintain a healthy and safe environment
- Plan various activities, outings, and workshops, to improve life skills and help build independence.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- 1 year of experience working with individuals who display behaviors
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive company van
- 21 years or older
- Ability to lift/transfer 50 pounds
