Speech Language Pathologist Duties:
- Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to elementary aged students
- Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary teams and classroom teachers to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs
- Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
- Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders
Speech Language Pathologist Requirements:
- School-based and/or pediatric experience working with school aged kids
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid MD SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathologists
