Practice Overview
Our client is a full-service companion animal practice that offers a spacious and well-equipped facility dedicated to the well-being of furry companions. With advanced amenities such as ultrasound and laser therapy, they provide comprehensive care that goes beyond the basics. Their digital x-ray and in-house labs ensure efficient diagnostics, while their computerized controlled drugs system guarantees utmost safety. Supported by a compassionate team, they prioritize both their caring clients and dedicated staff. They value collaboration and are always open to recommendations, reflecting their commitment to continuous improvement in serving the needs of their beloved animal companions.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Nurture and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
- Maintain and encourage a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Be licensed or be able to be licensed in the state of Kentucky
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
- Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Interest in general medicine, surgery, and dental cases
