Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Needed Immediately

Siter-Neubauer & Associates, founded in 1999, provides compassionate Healthcare Services to military members and their families, as well as to the general public.
Specific Tasks:
- Provide medical examination, care, and treatment to service members.
- Review medical histories and progress of service members.
- Examine service members, diagnose diseases or injuries, and prescribe treatment.
- Abide by all facility rules, regulations, and policies.
- Initiate requests for tests, x-rays, and admissions to the medical treatment facility as appropriate.
- Follow-up on abnormal reports.
- Review abnormal x-ray and lab reports received on service members.
- Prescribe medications as appropriate in accordance with privileges and regulations.
- Document appropriate history, physical examinations, and diagnoses.
- Maintain documentation of all treatment provided in accordance with applicable directives.
- Utilize paraprofessional staff as appropriate.
- Respond to cardiopulmonary arrest as necessary.
- Attend and participate in relevant professional activities.
- Adhere to the Center for Disease Control guidelines concerning universal precautions.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
- Complete outpatient encounters in AHLTA within the required timeframe.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess, at minimum, a baccalaureate degree.
- Graduate of a PA training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant.
- Current certification by the NCCPA and a license to practice as a physician assistant.
- Current DEA Registration certificate and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Minimum of one year of experience within the last two years as a full-time PA.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Registered Nurse with a master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited school of nursing.
- Passed the national certification examination by the American Nurses Certification Corporation.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice as a nurse practitioner.
- Minimum of one year of experience within the last two years as a full-time NP.
