Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiovascular Surgery Division at our Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis, IN!
Position Details:
- Full-time, Day Shift
- Monday - Friday
- No nights, weekends, call or holiday requirements
- 100% Outpatient
- Join a collaborative team of 6 physicians and 8 APPs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in outpatient clinic for post-op and follow-up patients
- Collaborate with MDs on new surgery consults
- Provider will be the primary contact for most patients and provide guidance on perioperative management, medications and education
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree Required
- ACNP, AGNP, or PA certification required
- 1 year of experience as an APP is preferred
- If new graduate, multiple years of RN experience in a high acuity hospital is preferred
- Ideal candidate will also have experience and/or completed a clinical rotation with Cardiovascular Surgery
