Responsibilities
Summerlin Hospital is a 485-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children's Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women's health and oncology care. Summerlin Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center, and has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines program.
Job Description:
Performs lead functions for an assigned shift or outlying pharmaceutical operations and provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching. Participates in supervision of employees including, but not limited to, competency, training, serving as a resource and providing feedback on performance.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy.
Experience:
Three to five years (3-5) experience required, preferably in a hospital setting.
Technical Skills:
Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)
License/Certification:
Current Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada.
