We are currently seeking applications for Therapy Assistants to join our Brightwater at Home team, working in the Perth metropolitan area (Central). In particular we are looking for applicants to work in the Cottesloe, Nedlands, South Perth, Vic Park, Belmont, or Maida Vale area. These are permanent full-time or part-time positions.
Our Therapy Assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality, appropriate and relevant remedial services to meet the needs of Brightwater At Home's clients who live in the community. You will work under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide engaging programs that assist our clients to work toward their functional goals.

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- The ability to prioritise your workload, problem solve, and work safely and efficiently under pressure without direct supervision
- A positive, proactive and a client-focused approach
- A Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training
- A WA drivers' licence and own a reliable car
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan by facilitating a variety of therapeutic and recreational programs
- Contributing to the development of innovative therapy programs to improve the wellbeing of our clients
Therapy Assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients. The Therapy Assistant assists clients in the community with goal directed exercise programs, speech pathology programs, kitchen retraining and community access.
