Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience
- NMTCB or ARRT-N
- BLS
Avg. Daily Census: 5-8.
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 1 year experience required.
First-timers accepted: Yes.
Certs REQ: IL state license and NMTCB or ARRT-N required.
Is on-call REQ? No.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No.
Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
IL state license required prior to starting onsite – can apply for position prior to obtaining.
RTO Restrictions: Discuss time off requests with manager.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
Special Requirements:
Required Work Setting Experience: Adult, Hospital, Nuclear Cardiology.
Required Equipment experience: Phillips.
Required Procedure Skills/Experience: Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, Muga Scan.
Required Bone Scan Skills/Experience: 3 Phase, Limited, Whole Body.
Perfusion Skills/Experience required for Lung Scans.
Required Renal Flow Skills/Experience: Flow/Function, With Lasix.
Required Thyroid Study Skills/Experience: Uptake Scan.
Required Tumor Localization Skills/Experience: Limited, Whole Body.
Required SPECT(Single-Photon Emission CT) Skills/Experience: Bone.
Required Myocardial Skills/Experience: Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Exercise/Rest-Single, Pharmacological Stress.
Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Start and maintain Peripheral IV, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials.
