Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Well established Primary Care Practice in Glen Burnie, MD seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. We provide a competitive salary and excellent benefits (including health, dental, 401k, educational etc). Candidates must be board certified and clinical experience in primary care is essential.
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our primary care team of 2 providers.
Responsibilities- Examine patients and their medical records, diagnose health conditions and illnesses, and order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc).
- Propose treatments and prescribe medications for chronic and acute diseases.
- Maintain accurate records and schedules.
- Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention.
- Oversee patients’ overall health by promoting good health practices and helping them lead healthy lives.
- Advance professional knowledge and conduct research.
Skills- Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER, or other setting.
- Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices.
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations.
- Strong ethics.
- Team spirit with a positive attitude, working closely with our staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Patience and cool-headedness, problem-solving skills, and communication ability.
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience.
- Valid nurse practitioner license.
- Master’s degree; PhD is a plus.
Ideal candidate will be an early career NP or PA willing to work part-time with a transition to full-time.

You should have experience in one of the following Nurse Practitioner/PA specialties: acute care, cardiology, family health, women’s health, internal medicine.
