Overview:
Assists supervisor with staff education, competency and evaluations. Strives to provide optimal patient care and safety. Performs and assists with imaging procedures. Upholds the Standard of Practice of a registered technologist.
Qualifications:
Required Education: Vocational Degree required: Graduate from School of Radiologic Technology recognized by the ARRT.
Necessary Skills:
- Approach and manage stress/traumatic situations in a calm manner.
- Knowledge of Imaging procedures and practices.
- Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment.
- Knowledge of computer technology, electronic imaging, and ability to troubleshoot problems.
Required Licensure/Certifications: Current BLS Certification, (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Florida State License. ARRT certification in CT.
Required Experience:
- 1 - 2 years of CT experience AND
- 3 - 5 years of General Radiology experience
Preferred Experience: Specialized training in CT. Experience with PAC's.
