This role offers an exciting and fast-paced opportunity for a professional eager to make a significant impact within a large physician practice. This position is responsible for managing physician schedules across all MaineHealth Cardiology practices and inpatient services. This position demands exceptional critical-thinking skills and the ability to thrive under pressure. The role involves close collaboration with physicians and senior leaders, requiring you to execute strategic decisions regarding patient service offerings and provider templates.
This role is based out of MaineHealth Cardiology Scarborough, 96 Campus Drive, Scarborough ME 04074. This role is 100% in-person. 2+ years of medical office experience required. Previous scheduling experience preferred. High-level experience with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, is required.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High school graduate or GED preferred.
- License/Certifications: N/A
- Experience: Previous medical office experience with scheduling experience preferred.
- Knowledge and skills in using office equipment.
- Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks and have the flexibility to meet changing demands on a daily basis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone.
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to maintain a professional manner even under stressful situations.
