Preferred qualifications: No new hires. 2 years minimum experience preferred. Must have critical care experience (ED or ICU).
Specific job details: Sedation and Monitoring of patients undergoing procedures in medical imaging. Must be able to wear lead apron for extended periods of time. Must be able to transport patients if necessary.
Soft Skills: Strong Teamwork skills are a must.
Unit/ Position/ Team: Medical Imaging RNs cover multiple areas including Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine with a primary focus on Interventional Radiology and CT. This is a rare Monday through Friday Daytime position. Weekends and Holidays are off except for call. Callback is compensated very well with a recent hospital-wide increase in standby time from $3 to $5 an hour and standard double time for callback. Typically, Medical Imaging RNs care for one patient at a time.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area is desired.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification preferred.
