What we do at ChildrenFlow:
ChildrenFlow provides innovative and impactful professional development services to early childhood initiatives. We provide services to school districts, Head Start programs, and other organizations that provide early childhood education. Our vision is to develop each child’s unique being and deepen their interconnectedness with the world that surrounds them. Our goal is to help build a better and happier world. We accomplish this by providing training, coaching, assessments, and other services to early childhood programs.
What you will be doing in this role:
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Delivery of early childhood education professional development and evaluation/assessment services in person and/or online:
- Training: Provide professional development trainings to teachers, directors, leaders and administrators
- Coaching: Provide professional development coaching to teachers and other education staff
- Assessments: Conduct assessments of classroom quality (For example, CLASS, ECERS-3 and other tools)
- Reporting: Write reports for clients
- Client support: Provide follow-up after services to ensure we give the highest quality support to clients
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating innovative content and improving current services and products
- Present at early childhood education conferences
- Assist with generating content such as blogs, newsletters, and other forms of communications
- Provide support to other teams and additional projects as needed
Applicant Qualifications:
- BA Degree in a relevant field such as Education, Child Development, or Psychology. Graduate degree preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- One or more of the following certifications preferred: Infant CLASS, Toddler CLASS, PreK CLASS
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Cellphone and Internet access
- Reliable form of transportation to drive in the metropolitan area of Greater Houston
- Travel up to 20% to other cities or states
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Able to work independently as well as to function effectively with teams
- Excellent organization skills and ability to effectively multi-task
- Strong technology skills
- Additional Skills: Organized, punctual, responsible, friendly
