This full-time position runs from 8:00am to 5:00pm and offers a unique opportunity to lead and innovate within our hospice, palliative care, and senior health programs.

What You Will Do:
- Lead with Vision: Oversee the hospice, palliative care, and senior health programs, both inpatient and outpatient, with 24-hour accountability.
- Ensure Excellence: Maintain patient safety and regulatory compliance across all departments.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work with clinical managers to plan and implement strategic initiatives that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
- Financial Stewardship: Monitor and manage the financial performance of the Hospice Program, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Quality Improvement: Lead quality assessment and performance improvement activities, including patient satisfaction initiatives.
- Community Engagement: Represent the program at foundation and community events, enhancing our presence and support within the community.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Education: MSN required.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of progressive nursing management experience.
- 2-3 years of hospice experience.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current license or work permit to practice nursing in SC.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services.
- Clinical Oversight: Provide oversight of clinical managers in the design, delivery, and evaluation/improvement of patient care.
- Fiscal Management: Responsible for fiscal planning, budgeting, and management of operations within established parameters.
- Quality and Performance: Ensure that services and programs meet or exceed quality, service, and financial goals.
- Policy Development: Design and evaluate processes and policies to improve systems, patient care results, and outcomes across the continuum of care.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clinical managers to develop and implement strategic plans for efficient patient care services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulatory agencies.
- Talent Management: Recruit, employ, and retain qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Performance Improvement: Direct and monitor organizational performance improvement activities.
