Orthopaedic Associates is currently accepting resumes for a PRN MRI Tech to cover Fort Walton Beach, Destin or Crestview location as needed. Current ARRT certification required. Experience required. Orthopaedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Utilize magnetic resonance for the purpose of detecting pathology
- Perform MRI as directed by a clinic provider.
- Operate equipment safely
- Maintain the safety and integrity of the MRI suites
- Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationships with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff
Education and Experience
- Knowledge of MRI quality control procedures and the ability to troubleshoot problems with equipment or exams
- ARRT RT (R)(MR) with current license Required
- BLS
- Experience in a physician's office, clinic or other health care setting is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Capable of operating or learning to operate automated systems and other office equipment
- Must possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills'
Healthcare setting:
Schedule:
- Flexible hours between 6-6pm for coverage and overflow of scans
- Day shift- most days
- Monday to Friday
- No call
Experience:
- Medical Imaging: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- ARRT Certification (Required)
