Description
Greenbrier Emergency Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian to join our team and share our passion for exceptional care. Situated in the locale of Charlottesville, VA, we stand as a beacon of emergency veterinary services, providing unparalleled care on nights, weekends, and holidays, 365 days a year.
Our facility is fully equipped with a state-of-the-art surgical suite featuring electrocautery and ventilator capability, alongside advanced diagnostic tools including a digital x-ray machine with off-site STAT board-certified consults, bedside ultrasound, and comprehensive in-house blood and urine analyzers including clotting time and electrolyte analysis. Additionally, we have access to products for transfusions, oxygen supplementation therapy, and fluid therapy with electronic monitoring.
Conveniently located within the same building, our patients requiring specialty care benefit from seamless access to Virginia Veterinary Specialists (VVS). Since our founding 15 years ago, we take immense pride in being the sole emergency hospital serving Charlottesville and its surrounding communities.
Our collaborative team is highly efficient and dedicated to providing outstanding emergency care. We prioritize the well-being of pets at every step, starting with our exceptional staff.

Ideal Candidate
- Has earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Has experience in emergency care and surgery.
- Thrives in a busy, fast-paced, team oriented environment.
