DEPUTY JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATOR
DIRECTOR—DRUG/SPECIALTY COURT PROGRAMS
The Louisiana Supreme Court is seeking an individual with strong leadership abilities to manage the technical and program development services of the Drug and Specialty Court Division under the Judicial Administrator's Office. Duties include developing and recommending annual budgets, funding allocations, and analyzing data and services with respect to specialty courts statewide. Provides assistance to judges and specialty court personnel in the various specialty courts throughout the state. Makes presentations at conferences as needed and prepares reports, statistics, and graphical illustrations to keep the Louisiana Supreme Court Justices, Louisiana Legislature, State partners, and the general public informed as to the effectiveness of specialty court programs. Supervises all Drug/Specialty Court staff including performance management, hiring, and coaching for success.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ideal Candidate will possess a juris doctorate degree or master's degree in social work, criminal justice, court/public/business administration plus five years of related professional experience; or a bachelor's degree in any of the above named academic areas with eight years of progressively responsible professional court experience and familiarity with drug courts; or a bachelor's degree in any field with 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in court/public/business administration or a related field, including at least three years in drug court administration. Requires excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills, as well as hands-on computer skills including all Microsoft programs and familiarity with grant administration. Supervisory experience is a must as well as financial/budget experience.
