Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days / 6:30a-4p, 8×5, 40hrs per week, M-F
Rotate Sat and Sun 1/2-day coverage, 7a – noon
Rotate weekday, weekend, and holiday call
Requirements:
- 1 Year Experience
- BLS
- CCI or ARDMS
- Must have EPIC EMR experience
Others:
- Less than 50 miles from facility
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to independently perform & document TTE, TEE (2D and 3D), and Echo Stress exams
- Perform 2-dimensional, M-mode, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and Doppler procedures
- Measure all heart chamber sizes, including wall thickness and valve openings
- Recognize abnormalities during testing, focusing on areas of specific concern
- Utilize the Doppler probe (pulsed and continuous wave) to gather diagnostic information, as well as calculate valvular gradients, valve orifices, and pressure halftimes
- Must be able to complete a preliminary report
- Must have adult scanning experience
- Will be required to work 5 days per week totaling 40 hours which includes some weekends
- Will be placed on a rotation of afterhours, holiday, and weekend call
