Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Strike Business Office is seeking an experienced Financial Earned Value (EV) lead to help manage proprietary contracts valued at over $2B. These contracts require Contractual EV Management and will be implemented using the SAP APEX EVMS/PMX tool suite. Annual sales are forecasted to be more than $500M with anticipated total value of >$2B over five years. This Finance EV lead will serve as a critical business partner by providing the analysis, insight and guidance to enable strategic decision making and achieve bottom-line results.
What You Will Do
- The individual chosen for this position will lead, coordinate and mentor peers and junior analysts regarding contractual EVMS submissions, develop, present and defend monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), baseline and incorporate regular scope expansion tasking, and support related financial forecasting for the portfolio of proprietary efforts.
- Analyzing EV metrics including weekly/monthly costs incurred and provide associated leading indicator guidance to Program and Business management, external stakeholders and the customer community.
- The contracts have >$150M annually in material and manufacturing development, which requires experience of integrating and managing several large suppliers, direct reporting major sub-contractors, as well as influencing the pre-production management of units in the Factory.
- Effective and influential communication across all levels of the business (Functional Organizations, SBU’s, Program Management, and Government counterparts) is required. A strong desire to foster relationships that improve execution implementation is critical.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic
- Typically requires 8+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years prior relevant experience
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Work and PowerPoint)
- Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, Quality, etc.)
- Experience in applications of EVMS, Program Controls, and/or Cost/ Schedule Integration or a similar system
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
