Opportunity Highlights
- Centra Health's Breast Imaging Center is located in Lynchburg, Virginia is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Breast Imaging Radiologist for a full-time, hospital-employed position. Join our team of passionate providers who value patient care and provider work life balance. This unique opportunity is 100% breast imaging.
- 4 Day work week. No call, no nights, no weekends, and no holidays!
- Our NAPBC-certified practice completes approximately 10,000 diagnostic patients & 30,000 screening exams annually and is honored to be designated as a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence (DICOE) by the ACR. This position requires no general radiology responsibilities, only breast imaging.
- Staffed by 1 RN and 6 dedicated ultrasound techs.
- Mobile Mammography RV.
- 3D/Tomosynthesis.
- MagView familiarity is a plus.
Physician Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive compensation based on regular hours plus overtime hours worked.
- Upfront bonuses.

Required Qualifications
- Completion of medical degree and residency training in a radiology. In addition, candidates must complete a breast imaging radiology fellowship to be considered for this position.
- MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
