Schedule: Part-Time/ Day
Shift: Sunday and Monday 7a-7:30p, call required.

The community you’ll be caring for:
AdventHealth Parker is a Level II Trauma Center that serves our community by providing excellent, community-focused health care. Since we opened our doors in 2004, we have grown into a regional medical center. In 2017, we received the designation of a Magnet Recognized Hospital. In 2018, we became one of the only five hospitals in the nation, and the only hospital in Colorado, to receive Joint Commission Certification for Bariatrics. We have 170 Licensed beds, 23 Emergency Department private rooms, and 13 surgical suites.
The role you'll contribute:
Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.

- Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients, and all other individuals. Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to “as low as reasonably achievable” (ALARA).
- Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
- Prepares patient for exam. Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
- Maintains compliance with all State, Federal, accreditation and hospital regulations and standards.
- Demonstrates effective time management and is proactive in prioritizing workload and meeting productivity requirements.
- Adapts to rapidly changing technologies, policies, regulations, census and staffing through priority setting and flexibility.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- In state Licensed Radiology Technologist.
- One year of related experience
- ARRT (CT), ARRT (N), OR CNMT registry required or State CT registry ARRT (R) with CT training.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
