The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for the preparation, trouble shooting, limited maintenance, and application of anesthesia administration and patient monitoring equipment used in the practice of anesthesia, under the supervision of the anesthetist or anesthesiologist.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Prepare anesthesia machines and carts for any surgical case.
- Order and stock anesthesia supplies.
- Collect anesthesia data and insurance forms.
- Facilitate cases by assisting the anesthetist or anesthesiologist in transporting, preparing, and induction of anesthesia.
- Assist OR personnel with prepping and positioning the patient for surgery.
- Initiate and support activities to control cost.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One-year previous experience providing direct patient care in a medical setting required.
- Anesthesia Tech certification required within one year of hire.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
