Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele 3rd West Tower 48’s
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- NC license
- Minimum 2 years experience or 1 year with travel experience
- Skills: MS/tele experience required, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required, use of rapid response teams required, blood product administration required, central line care/management required, peripheral line care/management required, nasal cannula required, non-invasive airway management required, isolation precautions required
- BLS
- NIH
- Telemetry experience preferred
Other Details:
- Floating as needed to similar units
- Traveler Experience required: No, unit accepts 1st time travelers
- Patient Diagnoses: General surgery and medical tele cardiac telemetry/medical telemetry. Various diagnosis requiring either medical intervention or surgical procedures, including medical tele patients. Overflow for winter census
- SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: General Surgery, Surgical procedures
- UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC (preferred)
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
JOB DETAILS:
48 hours can be offered. If 48 hrs, no OT will be billed until after 48 hrs is reached. Will accept 13 week contracts.
RTO: 7 days MAX (For AYA OFFER units only, remove if client offer) [IF an 8 week contract, 4 days MAX; if a 26 week contract then 13 days MAX]
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Floating as needed to similar units.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required.
HOSPITAL ORIENTATION: 36 hours. Traveler must be available for classes each day.
