The NICU Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.
Growing Level II NICU, 8 bed Nursery at JFK University Medical Center serving residents of Middlesex, Union and Somerset counties in Central New Jersey.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
- Physician Assistant License.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification required.

New Jersey Nurse Practitioner License and Preference for pediatric or Neonatal NP (NNP) certification.
