Job Summary:
As the Director, you are responsible for the management and provision of nursing care rendered in the departments managed. You will plan, organize, and evaluate patient care within the program to develop and maintain high quality, evidence-based care for your patients.
What You Will Do In This Role:
You are responsible and accountable for nursing care rendered in the departments, based on the Nursing Process--assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
You will determine and ensure the competence of all staff members is assessed, maintained, demonstrated, and improved on an ongoing basis.
You will participate in selecting sources for needed services not provided by the departments or the organization.
You are responsible for ensuring core measure patients are identified and protocols followed.
Qualifications
Candidate Requirements:
- 3 years minimum of RECENT (within the last year) Director or Manager L&D, Woman Services acute care hospital leadership experience REQUIRED. *Director experience is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- Previously worked in high volume L&D.
- Education - MSN IS REQUIRED.

Position Responsibilities:
Director will oversee 3 areas: L&D, L&D OR and OB ED.
FTES: approx. 150 including 4 Managers.
What is the support system for this role?
- 4 Managers, charge nurses and Clinical support resource management elbow support for new nurses to provide additional resources for 2 years of practice. Able to provide training and education for nurses who struggle in skills or processes for immediate support.

Salary Range: Min: $48.92|$101,753.60 Mid: $61.15|$127,192.00 (Close to 10 years of experience) Max: $73.38|$152,630.40 (20 years of experience).
