Position Summary:
Incumbent is responsible for formulating, documenting and implementing nutrition care plans for patients seen in assigned clinic. Duties include conducting and documenting assessments, reassessments, consults and providing nutrition education for patients and families. Participates in process improvement and special projects. Coordinates resources throughout the Health System and assists in the evaluation of services provided to ensure that requirements are met.

Annual Rate
Minimum: $83,478.24
Midpoint: $102,583.44
Maximum: $121,667.76
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated understanding of therapeutic and normal nutrition, with the ability to develop care plans for patients
- Willingness and availability to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed or requested
- Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetics Association
- Minimum two years experience as an R.D. in a healthcare/clinical environment
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must possess either a graduate degree or advanced certification of CNSD, CDE or CSP
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
