Duties:
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments and their inter-relationships with the physiological conditions affecting test results.
- Performs and reviews quality control.
- Performs assigned clinical laboratory testing accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepares workstation and instrumentation for the assigned testing.
- Ensures maintenance of instruments and equipment is performed according to manufacturer and SOP requirements, and documented according to SOP.
- Performs analyses which may involve a complex network of steps and variable fine-line discriminations between several similar results.
- Responsible for performing tests from written procedures.
- Maintains excellent attendance that contributes to high patient satisfaction and quality patient care.
- Maintains quality control of laboratory testing to ensure accurate and timely lab reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
- MUST HAVE: ASCP or ASCPi
- MUST HAVE: Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology
- If non-US citizen, must have Permanent Residency Card, TN Visa (or qualify for the TN Visa), or H1B Visa
