We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help ensure we are providing great experiences. Responsibilities:
- Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms.
- Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals.
- Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for fellow staff members.
- Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring.
- Proficient in dental prophylaxis.
Position Requirements:
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
- Associates degree in Veterinary Technology.
